Hi there folks, we were off the air for a couple of days while we were in Canada. Those international roaming charges were adding up and the park we were at didn’t have any WiFi. I will post some photos later.
This is how far we have come so far. It comes to about 4700 miles. But we have had a blast and for the most part the weather has been great. We had rain in Tennessee (both times we were there). How much rain? Each time, we had about 12 inches fall over a couple of day period. In total that is about twice as much rain as we get in San Diego for the entire year. We also had some oppressive heat and humidity while we were in Charleston that was a little tough to take. We also hit New York during a tough heat wave. Each day it was in the high 90s and on one day it broke 100 degrees, but it was no where near as humid as that day in Charleston. So we can’t complain at all.
When we got to Toronto, we had very nice weather and the temp was in the mid 80s. When we woke up today to head over to Michigan it never got over 63 degrees. When I stopped to buy gas it was only 58degrees. A bit chilly for us San Diegans. For some reason, our GPS has had some real challenges up here in the north it has taken us on some peculiar routes, but in the end we seem to wind up where we are supposed to.
I’ll post pictures for Niagara Falls from the Canadian side, and then for Toronto.
It’s good to be back on the air.
