Friday – July 12, 2013 – Columbia, SC
The weather changed on us quickly after we left the heat of Charleston. Unfortunately, the humidity got worse and the only way that would happen was for it to rain, and that’s exactly what happened. We were going 2 hours up the road to Columbia to meet my dear Aunt Rose and her companion Rob.
We got together at the Eastern Buffet. What they may have lacked in haute cuisine they more than made up for in sheer quantity.I haven’t seen a more extensive buffet outside of Las Vegas. I have learned that they do love their buffets in the South.
We were there for about 2 hours catching up with one another. Our spirits were fully sated as was our appetite. In all of our excitement to get reconnected we forgot to take a photo. Shame on us.
